This week's theme is Feelings

What wonderful parties we had on Friday. Thanks to everyone who was involved with them. The week we are going to study about our feelings and the letter "J". Help your child learn about feelings by asking them what they talked about in class each day.

The end of the month will be here soon so don't forget to turn in your application and fee for the 2009/2010 school year. The deadline for turning applications and fee is February 27, 2009 If you are planning on your child attending our center the next school year you must submit a new application and fee. Beginning March 2, 2009 I will begin filling empty spots with children that are on our waiting list.

Spring Break will be here before we know it. Please start thinking about if your child will attend during the week of Spring Break. I will send home the surveys on March 2, 2009. If is very important that we get these surveys back. Our center will be closed on March 20, 2009 for Staff Training.

Monkey classroom will make stone soup on Friday. Everyone will need to bring an something for this soup. Ms. Chastity will let you know what she needs.

This weeks Theme is Valentines!

This week we are going to talk about Valentines, and the Letter D. What do you think about when you think of Valentines. My first thought is Love. The bible tells us we should love our neighbor. The bible also tells us that a Friend Loves at all times. Sometimes showing love is not always easy. I hope that this week the children will learn ways we can show love to others.

All classes will have parties on Friday the 13th. Please get with your child's teacher if you would like to help. Your child will also need valentine cards to exchange with thier friends in their class. You can bring the cards on the day of the party. In a couple of weeks we will learn about Dr. Suess, if you have any his books we would love to borrow them. We would love for the parents to come and read to us during this week.

If your child is a ladybug they need empty Kleenex Boxes for a valentines project.

The Busy Bee class room needs treats for their prize box.

This weeks theme is Weather!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. This week the kids will learn about the weather and the letter B. Registration for the 2009-2010 School year started today. Please complete the new form and return it along with the registration fee by February 28, 2009 if you plan on your child attending our center during the next school year. Our Valentine parties are scheduled for Friday February 13, 2009.

If your child is a Busy Bee they need paper towel rolls and an empty shoe box for some craft projects.

If your child is in the Turtle room (Ms. Ashley Tucker) they need paper towels, clorox wipes and baby wipes.

The Ladybug classroom needs candy for the treasure chest.
