Open House

Open house is Thursday August 11, 2011. This meeting is mandatory for all parents. If you are unable to attend this meeting please let me know asap.

School Closed

First Baptist Child Ministry Center will be closed today. We will reschedule the Valentine Party's for Monday. I hope everyone has a wonderful day playing in the snow.

School Closing

The center did close early today due to power and weather related issues. We will make a decision about tomorrow in the morning. If we are closed we will have it on the blogspot, raido and channel 11.

School Closing

I have had many people to ask me about if we are going to be open tomorrow. If both the city and county schools of Neshoba County are closed we will be closed. I will not know if they are closed til in the morning. I will post something on the local raido station 102.3 if we WILL be closed.

Back to School.

We had a wonderful day back in school. The kids were already to get back to their friends. This week our theme is "Introduction to School". We are going to start learning our classroom rules and working on our daily routines.

Thanks to everyone who came to the parent open house. We had a wonderful turn out.

Don't forget about the Parenting Conference this Thursday. Conference will start at 6:00 pm and we will begin serving a meal at 5:15. The conference of FREE , the meal is FREE and childcare will be provided for FREE!! Let me know if you are interested.

Don't forget about the $55 supply fee that is due now for children ages 1 and up.

Back to School!!

Summer is over and now it is time for school.

Parent open house is Thursday August 13, 2009 beginning at 6 pm.

First Baptist is hosting a Parenting Conference on Thursday August 20, 2009. The speaker is Chris Webb from First Baptist Church in Jackson. He is going to talk about discipline. The conference is free, childcare will be provided and a sandwich supper will be offered beginning at 5:15. I encourage all my parents to attend. If you would like to attend please let me know ASAP.


First Day of kindergarten is Monday August 17 2009.

School is OUT!!

It is hard to believe that school is out for the summer.

The Summer Pull out program will start next week (May 26-29, 2009). To refresh every one's mind the Summer Pull out program is $45 a week and your child can come two days a week. Everyone has already picked what two days they will send their child for the summer. If you need to change your days please let me know.

Here is what to look forward to this summer:

Closed May 25, 2009 for Memorial Day

June 1-5, Vacation Bible School Ages 3K- 6th grade

June 14 Ms. Jennifer 5th Year Anniversary at FBCMC

June 22 Promotion Day.

Promotion Day is when everyone moves up to their new classrooms.
